To achieve our future goals, we created the “New Natural Energia” to be a modern platform for investment in electricity infrastructure. The current “Natural Energia Participações Ltda” will continue under the name “NEP”, to represent the origin of the group. In parallel, we created “Natural Capital”, which became an asset management company specializing in energy. NEP will maintain our initial projects that have already had their equity structured, some real estate assets, and will provide services related to the financial market, such as M&A operations…
The increased occurrence of extreme natural events, such as blizzards, earthquakes, and tsunamis, has sparked the world’s alert signal to the effects of climate change. Thus, sustainability has gained strength in the agendas not only of governments and decisionmakers, and businesses but by the general population as well.
In the electricity sector, due to the constant growth of energy consumption, sustainability can be achieved by diversifying the energy matrix and increasing the penetration of cleaner and renewable technologies that do not degrade the planet’s natural resources. In Brazil, what is observed is the rapid growth of the integration of renewable technologies such as wind and solar power.
To keep up this mission of contributing to a new low-carbon era, we believe the transportation system will change and absorb not only new technologies, but also alternative fuels and other sources of power such as LNG, Green Ammonia, SAF, EVs. Much infrastructure will be necessary to achieve this goal and Natural Energia is ready to meet these demands.
Open Letter about Natural Energia’s Group restructure
The Natural Energia group has been restructured.
To achieve our future goals, we created the “New Natural Energia” to be a modern platform for investment in electricity infrastructure. The current “Natural Energia Participações Ltda” will continue under the name “NEP”, to represent the origin of the group. In parallel, we created “Natural Capital”, which became an asset management company specializing in energy. NEP will maintain our initial projects that have already had their equity structured, some real estate assets, and will provide services related to the financial market, such as M&A operations. Under management of Natural Capital, we will create the FIP Natural Energia, which will own all of the group’s projects, including the Natural Energia platform, focusing in Brazil and on the US.
Natural Energia and Natural Capital are organized to take advantage of all the expertise of the first ten years and use it to benefit new investors who will take advantage of this opportunity to build with us a new low-carbon era.
